About the founder

Hi, for those who don’t know me, I’m Kevin the founder of KM Coaching. I thought I would give myself a proper introduction and an insight into why I got into Life Coaching.

I’m 24 and live in Aberdeen, Scotland. I have been a life coach now for almost a month. Outside of Life Coaching I work full time in the Oil and gas industry and a football referee. I have a beautiful fiancée, Shann, and an equally beautiful little boy, Roman who both are the best supporters.

So why Life Coaching? I have always had a passion for helping people. I want my peers to succeed at everything so why don’t I create a platform where I can do both. KM Coaching allows me to help people reach their goals whilst gaining self confidence and having a laugh along the way. I have been blessed with many different life experiences that will enable me to relate to experiences of my clients. From my experiences within refereeing, the ups, downs and everything in between, I really feel that I can help fellow athletes achieve their goals. Not everything in sport comes easily it takes so much to persevere through the rough times. The amount of times I have wanted to quit refereeing is unbelievable but through many of the life coaching techniques that I have learned I have carried on towards where I want to be.

Why did I want to start a business? Ever since I was in school, I have always had a pipe dream that I wanted to start my own company. I studied Business studies at higher level and felt like I had good knowledge about how to run one. However, at the time I never reacted to this passion and creativity that I had built up and ultimately I fell into the corporate world. Although I’m still within the corporate world, I felt the time was right to start my own side hustle the only issue was that I had no bright idea on what I wanted to create. That’s when I stumbled upon life coaching, when scrolling through Facebook. A total stroke of luck. Finally I had found something I’m passionate about that I can turn into this dream of running a business, KM coaching was born out of this.

I can’t wait to keep growing this community I have and help my clients not just reach their goals but become the best version of themselves.
